Upper eyelid surgery (upper blepharoplasty)

Surgical procedure involving the removal of excess skin and fat from the upper eyelids, indicated for drooping eyelids, a feeling of heaviness, and restricted field of vision.

Recovery: swelling and bruising subside within 7–10 days, stitches removed after 7 days. Antibiotic ointment must be applied. Return to work: usually after one week.

Lower eyelid surgery

Aesthetic procedure aimed at removing “under-eye bags,” excess skin, and protruding fat tissue.

Recovery: full healing takes 10–14 days. During the first few days, tension and tearing sensations may occur.

Upper and lower eyelid surgery (comprehensive blepharoplasty)

Combined procedure performed in a single surgical session for patients needing rejuvenation of the entire eye contour.

Recovery: similar to individual procedures, but full recovery takes up to 2 weeks.

Removal of eyelid fat hernias

An addition to blepharoplasty – precise removal or repositioning of internal fat tissue (often for swelling near the inner corner of the eye).

Recovery: depends on the extent of the surgery – usually without major discomfort.

Entropion correction (eyelid turning inward)

Procedure restoring proper eyelid margin positioning, protecting the cornea from irritating eyelashes.

Recovery: slight swelling for several days. Comfort improves almost immediately.

Ectropion correction (eyelid turning outward)

Procedure restoring the natural adhesion of the eyelid to the eyeball. Indicated for tearing, recurrent inflammations, and conjunctival exposure.

Recovery: stitches removed after 5–7 days. Improvement in aesthetics and visual comfort occurs within a few days.
