Refractive surgery – coming soon to MediSea
In the near future, we plan to expand MediSea’s offerings to include refractive surgery – modern laser methods for correcting vision defects such as:
- Myopia (nearsightedness)
- Hyperopia (farsightedness)
- Astigmatism
- Presbyopia (age-related farsightedness)
The procedures will be performed using the latest generation femtosecond and excimer lasers, with qualification based on precise diagnostics of the cornea, topography, and tomography of the anterior segment of the eye. Dr. Piotr Woźniak will be responsible for the surgeries.
The goal of refractive surgery is permanent vision correction and freeing the patient from dependence on glasses or contact lenses.
